Relax in this thoughtfully updated 2-bedroom apartment just minutes from Wilton Drive, beaches, dining, and nightlife. The space features warm dark-wood floors, comfortable modern furnishings, and a calm, relaxing vibe that makes it easy to unwind after a day exploring Fort Lauderdale.
We’re proud to offer a welcoming, inclusive stay for all guests. Many of our visitors are LGBTQ+ couples, small families, friends traveling together, snowbirds, and remote workers looking for a peaceful and convenient home base.
An eco-friendly Level-2 EV charger is available onsite. Settle in, relax, and make yourself at home.


Why La Joya?
La Joya Oasis is a traditional "old Florida" style house built in 1946. In fact, our home was one of the very first to be built in our neighborhood. Over the years, La Joya has been upgraded and remodeled and now features the modern conveniences you would find in a newer home.
In Spanish, "La Joya" means "the jewel." We believe the name fits our little slice of paradise. Without a doubt, our biggest source of pride is the lush tropical vibe we have curated in our garden (with the help of Mother Nature, of course). We work tirelessly to offer a unique experience for guests that feels as if you stumbled upon a secret garden, centered on a warm inviting pool, surrounded by many species of palms and other tropical plants.

The Layout
You’ll have the entire apartment to yourself, including a cozy living area, bedroom with a comfortable bed, and a fully equipped kitchen for longer stays. The décor is clean, modern, and uncluttered—perfect for relaxing evenings in or working remotely with fast Wi-Fi (103 Mbps). This space is ideal for up to 4 guests, whether you’re visiting for a long weekend getaway or staying up to 28 days.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, including stainless-steel appliances, a drip coffee maker and Keurig, microwave, toaster, cookware, and dinnerware. There is also a dedicated laptop workspace with a full-size monitor and docking station, making remote work easy and comfortable.




Living & Dining Room
The living room offers cozy seating and a Roku TV where you can log into your own streaming accounts. Dining table to comfortably accommodate 4 guests.
Bedrooms
Both bedrooms at La Joya Oasis are designed with sleep, privacy, and comfort in mind. Each room has its own wall-mounted TV with Roku as well as bedside storage which includes conveniently placed charging stations.
The blue bedroom includes a dresser for clothing storage (closet is reserved for owner use). The beige bedroom has a full closet for storage as well as shelving under the TV which can be used to store clothing and other items.

Interaction with Guests
Guests have full private access to the apartment, along with shared access to the pool, lanai, laundry area, and EV charger (available 9pm–7am; Tesla adapter needed).
Arrival is simple with smart-lock self-check-in. If it suits your schedule, we’ll stop by within the first 24 hours for a quick welcome — otherwise, we give you complete privacy.
We live onsite and share the property with our three small dogs, who you may occasionally see in outdoor common areas. They do not enter the guest apartment nor are they ever allowed to roam freely on the property.
Wi-Fi & Remote Work
The apartment includes 103 Mbps Wi-Fi and a quiet residential atmosphere, making it well-suited for remote work or extended stays of up to 28 days.
Host Access
Your privacy is always a top priority while maintaining the grounds of a 5-star property. To those ends, the owner / host is on-site in a separate living space which utilizes a separate entrance. The eastern edge of the property between the house and fence as well as the southernmost portions of the lot are reserved for host and routine maintenance purposes. These areas are separated from the house and pool area by bamboo privacy fencing.
Other Things to Note
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out
We are happy to accommodate early arrivals and late departures when possible. These requests are based on availability, and if another guest is checking out or in on the same day as requested. Early Check-In and Late Check-Out may be subject to additional fees.
Electric Vehicles (EV Charger)
We offer a level-two electric vehicle charging station which is located on the right-hand side of the driveway. If you are charging a Tesla, you will need an adapter. Use of the EV charger is provided free of charge. We ask that all EV charging take place between the hours of 8:00pm and 7:00am.
Cancellation / Refund Policies
We always uphold our cancellation policies as we incur costs regardless of if a guest shows up or not. We suggest that guests obtain travel insurance from either the booking platform or a third party so neither of us have to worry if anything disrupts your trip.
Other Requirements
At the time of check-in, the primary guest must present a valid photo ID and sign our Short Term Rental Agreement for compliance with state and local regulations.
